Last updated on March 23, 2020

Realme has been announcing smartphones like hotcakes right now and the sales of the company are also the same. However, Realme fans are also starting to question the strategy from Realme to launch a new mid-range phone after another. As a reason, Realme’s previous phones become old and their value gets lowered. But the fact remains that Realme will keep on launching new smartphones every month. In the latest information regarding Realme, we have been informed that the company is launching a new smartphone named Realme X2 Pro.

Since the ‘Pro’ moniker is added to this smartphone from Realme, it should be expected that there will be headlining features on this. And yes, we will see some exciting features on the Realme X2 Pro starting with a Snapdragon 855+ processor. This will be the first time that Realme smartphone is powered by a top-of-the-line flagship processor. It is expected that the Realme X2 Pro will compete with OnePlus 7T and the likes. Therefore, we should expect the price of Realme X2 Pro to be around the OnePlus 7T range as well.

However, we can also say that Realme’s competition is more with Xiaomi rather than OnePlus. So Realme might place its latest smartphone against the Redmi K20 Pro or Xiaomi Mi 9T for the global markets. Realme X2 Pro, according to a report from Chase, will be more powerful and premium compared to Realme X2. Realme X2 Pro also has a codename internally “that can be translated in English as either ‘Super Warrior’ or ‘Samurai’.”

The official confirmation of Realme’s X2 Pro has also come thanks to the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. According to a Weibo post by Xu Qi Chase, the company will soon launch a smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC. While the price details have not been mentioned, we will get those details sooner as well.
