And Finally!!!! The wait is over. The posters of the film that created a lot of buzz are here: Kartik Aaryan is a model husband from Kanpur, Bhumi Padnekar a high maintenance wife (who on earth has a low maintenance one?! 😉 ) and looking hot in the Woh avatar is Ananya Pandey.
Pati, Patni aur woh is the remake of 1978 Sanjeev Kumar starrer, BR Chopra’s romantic comedy with the same title. Sanjeev Kumar rocked the audience with ‘Thande Thande paani se’ in 1978 and we hope Kartik Aaryan will have a hit of his own version soon.
In the poster, Kartik can be seen in checked over the counter shirt and blue trousers. Gone are the trendy looks which (allegedly) Sara Ali Khan fell for but the smile on his face is still to die for. He tweeted the poster of his character #ChintuTyagi and said that he was “Halaat ke shikaar” or the victim of circumstances.
Bhumi Padnekar looks pretty in the Patni role. She tweeted “Zara high maintenance hai hum….emotionally” Well Bhumi; we feel for you… nothing illegal in being high maintenance, is it? Even Mercedes-Benz is high maintenance 😉
On the other hand we have a very chic looking Ananya Pandey. We can see what #ChintuTyagi had fallen for. She looks like any Indian male’s dream girl in the poster. She says, “Yeh Agneepath hai! Isse koi paar nahi kar paya!!!”. True that! It is a hard road to take…
Pati, Patni aur woh is directed by Mudassar Aziz, director of comedy films. It will also have special appearances by Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon . Kartik Aaryan has worked with both of them previously. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Abhay Chopra and Juno Chopra of BR Studios. According to Bhushan, new makers will give an interesting tweak to the old film. Also, new age actors will add a spark.
