Oppo launches its Reno Ace smartphone with 65W charging technology

Oppo has been one of the innovators in smartphones for a long time and the company has not stopped doing so. We have seen that the company always comes up with faster-charging technology which trumps everyone in the market. Oppo’s sub-brand, OnePlus, is also known for its 30W faster charging which is crazy fast compared to others. However, Oppo had revealed a charging technology which is absolutely insane and charges a smartphone from 0 to 27% in under five minutes. We are talking about Oppo’s 65W fast charging and the first smartphone with this technology is announced at the Oppo Reno Ace. The Verge also reports that the Oppo Reno Ace can be charged to full in just 30 minutes

Oppo’s new lineup of smartphones, Reno, is pitched as a camera phone and is targeted towards the youth. However, Oppo is not holding back on putting other features such as faster charging for this series too. Therefore, the Oppo Reno Ace becomes the smartphone to have fastest charging in the world with a 65W charger. Apart from that, this smartphone has been launched in China for less than $500 as well. Not only do we have the fastest charging on Oppo Reno Ace, we also have similar specifications as well. For example, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus which is currently the fastest and flagship processor from Qualcomm.

On the other hand, you get the latest UFS 3.0 storage with a capacity of 128 or 256GB. Along with that, you get a base variant with 8GB RAM while the top-end variant comes with 12GB RAM. Also, you have a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, packing a 90Hz refresh rate on Oppo Reno Ace. To be honest, this smartphone looks like a rebranded OnePlus 7T which was just launched last month by OnePlus. And we should not forget that OnePlus and Oppo have their offices in Shenzen in the same building as well. So we should not rule out the fact that this might be a re-packaged OnePlus 7T.
