OnePlus is a smartphone company which believes in refreshing their smartphones on an interval of 6 months or less rather than the traditional 12 months period. Because we have seen that the brand has been launching its flagship smartphone as well as T series smartphone six months later. From this year, OnePlus has been launching a series of smartphones rather than just a flagship smartphone. Therefore, we have already seen that the OnePlus 7 series was launched earlier this year. Now, the OnePlus 7T series is launching where the OnePlus 7T has been announced already. It is now time for the OnePlus 7T Pro which will be a successor to the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Apart from that, we saw a OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition last year and we will see a special edition this year as well. This will be the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition which will be the highest specced smartphone from OnePlus this year. However, a new report from Android Authority reveals that it could be the costliest OnePlus thus far too. Because the leaked pricing of OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition shows that the device could start at €849-€859 in Europe. For context, OnePlus 7T was launched at €589-€599 by the company. This shows that a huge bump up in pricing is expected while there is not much of a difference between OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro.
OnePlus 7T Pro will have a new autofocus sensor added while the 90Hz refresh rate remains the same as seen on OnePlus 7T. Apart from that, the device will have 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage while the OnePlus 7T has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with a 256GB variant too. It is interesting to see how OnePlus manages to justify the pricing of OnePlus 7T Pro while the OnePlus 7T is launched with almost identical specifications and slightly worse design.
