OnePlus has been all about the ‘flagship killer’ smartphones and it all started with the OnePlus One. This was the first smartphone that the company ever launched and it was a great hit. However, the successor to OnePlus One failed for quite some reasons. But OnePlus did not stop trying and the OnePlus 3 and 3T phones were popular once again. Now, we have come to the OnePlus 7T series of smartphones by the company. Last month, OnePlus released the OnePlus 7T which is an upper mid-range smartphone from the company at a $600 price range.
However, that is not all as OnePlus is also launching the OnePlus 7T Pro now which will be a successor to the OnePlus 7 Pro. With the OnePlus 7 Pro, the company entered the premium smartphone segment and it is continuing the same with OnePlus 7T Pro. From what we have seen so far, OnePlus 7T Pro will have four cameras while the addition from OnePlus 7 Pro’s setup will be a ToF sensor.
Apart from that, we don’t expect much to be different on the device compared to OnePlus 7 Pro. There are reports that we might see a new colour option for the OnePlus 7T Pro but that is also expected to make it different from the previous variant. We are also getting reports that the OnePlus 7 Pro will be discontinued in favour of the new OnePlus 7T Pro and it makes sense as well.
However, it would be very difficult to differentiate the OnePlus 7T Pro from OnePlus 7 Pro because both of them are identical from the front. Also, OnePlus will be announcing a OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition as well which is thanks to their partnership with McLaren F1 Team since last year. While we believe that the OnePlus 7T Pro will be launched at the same price as the OnePlus 7 Pro, there might be a price increase as well.
