The players who are bounded with IPL may have a big problem, if PSL resume in May 2021.
PSL present situation
Pakistan cricket board wants to repeat the same scenario, of the PDL 2020, in 2021. They want to happen 2021 PSL edition will be happing in two-phase. After successfully happening 14 matches in this edition they postponed the game for further notice with the reason of coronavirus, which is spreading too much.
PCB CEO’s announcement
Where the CEO of the Pakistan cricket board, Wasim Khan admitted that the board is failing to make a secure bio bubble for the players and the other staff. They are thinking that PSL will be resumed in the near future maybe from the month of May.
For now they are trying to exiting the players to travel back to the town residence.
Corona virus’s affect
CEO of Pakistan cricket board also asserted that the situation is going out from their hand, because nearly seven of the players was already tested positive for corona virus. Since 27th February seven of the players was tested positive for the deadly Corona virus.
So the PSL must have to be stopped. Though Wasim Khan still not declared any fixed date for the remaining matches of PSL, it is thinking that it may be resumed from May and will clash with the 14th edition of the Indian premier league.
No one knows that this thing happing normally or Pakistan cricket board want to clash PSL with Indian premier league, it’s completely a matter of their own thoughts.
Clashing of IPL with PSL
Both the board, Pakistan cricket board, and BCCI still not announced the perfect schedule for their own premium league, but BCCI gives a hint that IPL will be played in the month of April and May with just 5 grounds named Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.
So if the PSL also resumes from May then players like Imran Tahir, Chris Gayle, Chris Lynn, Ben Cutting, Mohammad Nabi, Faf du Plessis will be in big trouble, then they have to choose a tournament for playing, either PSL or IPL.
