iPhone SE 2 Launch Date, Price and Specification Revealed: Vintage iPhone is All Set to Return Again

In 2019 Apple launched there new iPhones are iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max have been super successful as they were priced slightly lower. Next year Apple may launch the iPhone 12 series but past rumors suggested that before the 12 series, the company will launch the successor to the iPhone SE — The iPhone SE 2.

According to the latest research from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is planning to launch an iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of 2020. In addition to the iPhone SE 2 launch date timeline, Ming-Chi Kuo also revealed the iPhone SE 2 price and key specifications.

iPhone SE 2 Price

Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that the entry-level model might cost at approx Rs 29,000 ($399) which is $250 less than the latest iPhone 11. As per the price prospective and specification, the upcoming iPhone SE 2 may hit the Indian market. Currently, iPhone 8 is the cheapest and most affordable device, which starts from $449.

Key Specifications

The specification of the device is very similar to the iPhone 8 but the new iPhone SE 2 will be powered by A13 CPU similar to the new 11 series phones. Kuo also confirms that it will come with 3GB RAM and available in two storage options are 64 GB and 128 GB.


In terms of how the new iPhone SE 2 is going to look – well according latest leaks suggest that it will look a lot like iPhone 8. This means Apple will not include a notch on this phone. However, there is not an image of this design available yet. But in terms of design, the SE 2 device will be a huge upgrade over the iPhone SE.

The phone is rumored to come with a 4.7 inch LCD panel instead of the 4-inch display. It comes with a there color options are silver, space gray, and red. Just like the 11 series phones, the SE series will also skip the 3D touch feature.
