‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ song from Dabangg 3 gets edited after protests

It’s on 20th of December that Salman Khan Starrer ‘Dabangg 3’ directed by Prabhudeva will hit the screens. But the title track of the movie ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ faced criticism and protests ever since the song was released. It faced reproval for certain segments in the song.

It has segments where Sadhus are seen dancing behind Salman Khan and playing the guitars which hurt the sentiments of people. Raising objection for this, a Hindu organisation asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to take necessary action for the same.

The makers of Dabangg 3 and Salman Khan Films (SKF) affirm that they have edited the sections from the song. SKF posted on Twitter “Keeping everyone’s sentiments in mind we have voluntarily edited certain scenes from the song Hud Hud Dabangg.”

The makers by doing this took the right step as many raised questions asking to ban the film. “The song features Sadhus dancing with guitars. Now they were not real Sadhus! These are dancers in sadhu’s get-up performing choreographed steps.

We shot the song in Maheshwar Madhya Pradesh. There were a few sadhus who just gathered to see the shoot. You can see them standing in the background.” said the earlier choreographer of this song – Shabina Khan.

Hud Hud Dabangg is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Wajid Ali. The movie Dabangg and Dabangg 2 both won hearts of cinemagoers and now Dabangg 3 written by Salman Khan himself is ready to do the same.
