Postponed of Asia A and Africa A and B regional qualifier matches
According to the International Cricket Council the qualifier matches of Asia A and sub Regional qualifier matches of Africa A and B, postponed due to COVID-19 . The Asia A qualifier matches which was expected to be played from 3rd April to 9th April in 2021, but after staying two steps away this qualifier matches of Asia A will be played from 23rd October to 29th October among Maldives, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain. This decision must have to be taken by the ICC for the new instructions and increasing cases of Corona virus. There are nothing sufficient for hosting any match of the in the any countries, they don’t have all the requirements of quarantine, so it have to be stopped. This Asia A qualifier may be played in Kuwait.
Now we are going to talk about the South Africa A and B regional qualifier matches, which will also not happened in to thee decided time. This regional qualifier may have had in the April month but now it will be rescheduled in the month of October, may be it was 25th October to 31st October. In that Africa A qualifiers so many teams are involved named Lesotho, Malawi, Swaziland, Ghana, Seychelles, Rwanda, and in the regional qualifier Africa B has Cameroon, Sierra, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Helena. This postponed is confirmed because International Cricket Council has officially announced this. But Africa A and B regional qualifier may be played in the month of November with Nigeria, Kenya and some top teams from South Africa region A and B.
Postponed of ICC women’s T20 qualifier matches
With all this things ICC also announced so many postponed news of many matches. The ICC men’s cricket world cup South Africa 2 regional qualifier is now postponed for the pandemic corona virus, and so many reasons like restrictions of travelling and many more. With all this International Cricket Council also said that the qualifier matches of ICC women’s T20 World Cup of South Africa region will also be postponed due to the deadliest corona virus. And this qualifier matches may be rescheduled in the month of September, more over it will be 3rd September to 11th September.
For now this all types of qualifier matches will be postponed and may be rescheduled after some time, and this is said by the head of the International Cricket Council Chris Tetley.
