Adam Gilchrist louds on 23-year-old southpaw’s maiden test ton in India

After scoring some 90s Rishabh Pant finally managed to make a ton on Indian soil.

The greatest wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist favors glorification on Rishabh Pant. This southpaw hits his third test ton on the ongoing 4th test against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. When this 23-year-old boy came to bat India is under so much pressure, 4 wickets down in just 80 runs and India is trailing by 125 runs.

He came to bat just after the lunch in the 38th over after Rahane’s wicket. At fast he was too defensive he scored his 50 in 82 ball but just after that his 50 he is ready to hit boundaries in every over and he did it he also reached his ton with a big six. He hit Joe root in the very first ball of 84th over for a slog sweep to reached his triple figure mark with six.

The greatest wicket-keeper former batsman of Australia wrote  “It’s not just about how many you get, but also when you get them. Pant was charmed with Gilchrist’s tweet, and replied by writing  Huge compliment coming from you, Gilly! Learned a lot watching you over the years.

During his knock, this southpaw also involved in a 113 runs partnership with Washington Sundar. His plan is to build a partnership fast and then hit the ball for scoring more runs, and he did it. Though at a point an Umpair’s call saved him from being LBW, somehow he survived and hit his first tin in India. In this knock when he was in 89, he hit a shot in the greatest English bowler James Anderson ball, which was also got viral, such that he is only the batsman who can hit James a four for a reverse lap overslip.
